What are the promotion dates?

The Promotion begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time on April 11, 2016 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on May 15, 2016.

How Do I enter the Instant Win Game and the Sweepstakes?

The Promotion consists of an “Instant Win Game” and a “Sweepstakes”:

  • Instant Win Game: During each Entry Period, participants have a chance to win weekly prizes in the Instant Win Game: Sony’s h.ear on™ Headphones, Sony’s Pico Projectors, Xperia Z5 Smartphones, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Libertalia Collector’s Edition, and Limited Edition Uncharted 4 PS4 Bundles. Simply visit unchartedthegame.com/AroundTheWorld, register, and enter your code. To get a code, either pre-order Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or mail-in a postcard (see Official Rules for details). Once you’ve successfully registered, you’ll have five coin flips per Entry Period. Every coin flip in the Instant Win Game is a chance to win the Instant Win Game prize AND an entry into the grand prize sweepstakes.
  • Sweepstakes: Participants will also have a chance to win a trip around the world for 2 (awarded in the form of (2) around the world airline tickets from an airline alliance and a $5,000 check). To enter the sweepstakes, visit unchartedthegame.com/AroundTheWorld, register, and enter your code. To get a code, either pre-order Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or mail-in a postcard (see Official Rules for details). Once you’ve successfully registered, you’ll have five coin flips per Entry Period. Every coin flip in the Instant Win Game is a chance to win the Instant Win Game prize AND an entry into the grand prize sweepstakes.

Who is eligible to participate?

The Promotion is offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada who are at least 18 years of age and meet the other requirements of the Official Rules.

Who are the participating retailers in this promotion?

U.S. retailers: Best Buy, GameStop, PlayStation Store, and Walmart.com. Canadian retailers: Best Buy, EB Games, and PlayStation Store.

How do I obtain a Code?

During the Promotion Period, an eligible entrant may obtain one Code to enter the Promotion using one of the following three methods:

  1. Make a Purchase: Eligible consumers who pre-order any of the following: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End game, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Special Edition, Uncharted 4, A Thief’s End Digital Deluxe Edition, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Libertalia Collector’s Edition, or Limited Edition Uncharted 4 PS4 Bundle between November 14, 2013 and May 9, 2016 from participating retailers will receive one Code.
  2. Without a Purchase (Mail-In Code Request): To obtain a Code without making a purchase, an eligible consumer must legibly hand write his/her full name (no initials), complete street address (no P.O. Box), age, and valid e-mail address on a 3½” x 5” properly stamped postcard and mail it to: Uncharted 4 Around The World Sweepstakes Code Request, P.O. Box 251328, West Bloomfield, MI 48325. Requests sent in an envelope will not be accepted. Mail-in requests must be postmarked between April 4, 2016 and May 1, 2016. Administrator will send one Code by e-mail to the e-mail address provided on the request.
  3. Without a Purchase (Online Code Request): From 12:00 AM ET on May 2, 2016 through 11:59:59 PM ET on May 15, 2016, an eligible consumer must visit unchartedthegame.com/en-ca/AroundTheWorld-2/code-request, and follow the onscreen instructions to obtain one (1) entry code.

I pre-ordered, but didn’t receive a code on my receipt.

Here are some ways you’ll be receiving a code:

  • GameStop and EB Games consumers who pre-order an Eligible Item in-store after April 11, 2016 will receive a Code on receipt (GameStop.com and EB Games.com will send code via email).
  • All other retail consumers who pre-order an Eligible Item after November 14, 2013 will receive their Code via email. Email with Code will be delivered within four business days of pre-order.
  • Consumers who do not receive a Code via email or a Code on their receipt from any of the participating retailers may upload their full receipt at www.unchartedthegame.com/AroundTheWorld to verify their purchase and to receive a Code. After verification, a Code will be emailed within 24 hours of receipt upload. Each entrant may obtain no more than one Code through this method of entry.

I received more than one code. Can I enter more than once?

Each Code is unique and may only be used once during the Promotion Period. Regardless of how many Codes are obtained by an entrant or the method used to acquire the Codes, there is a limit of one Code entry per entrant during the Promotion Period.

What happens if I don’t win an Instant Win Game prize?

Even if you don’t win an Instant Win Game prize, each flip still counts as entry into the grand prize Sweepstakes, a trip around the world for two, (awarded in the form of (2) around the world airline tickets from an airline alliance and $5,000 check). The more you flip, the more chances you have to win.

I forgot to log-in and flip the coin. Do I get to use those unused flips in the next entry period?

There’s a maximum of five flips per week (Entry Period) for the Instant Win Game and Sweepstakes. Unused Instant Win Game plays will not carry over into subsequent Entry Periods and will not count toward the Sweepstakes entry.

I won an Instant Win Game prize – now what?

Each entrant who receives a “win” message will be deemed a potential winner pending confirmation and verification of the entrant’s eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process.

When will the grand prize winner be notified?

Around May 16, 2016, the Administrator will randomly select one potential Sweepstakes winner from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The selected potential winner is deemed a potential winner pending verification of his/her eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, and will be notified by telephone or e-mail.

Can I win multiple prizes?

Each entrant/household has a chance to win five Instant Win Game Prizes and one Sweepstakes prize.

When will my prize be shipped?

Prizes will be shipped to verified winners at the physical address provided at the time of registration. Please allow up to 6 weeks following the end of the Game Period for delivery. Prize will only be awarded to a verified winner.

Once I complete a registration, will I be able to change any information?

No. Please be sure to enter all information correctly, especially your e-mail address as this will be your log-in to play the weekly Instant Win Game and the Sweepstakes. Entrants will not be allowed to change their physical address, e-mail address, or any other entrant-entered information. If you win, we will contact you at the e-mail address and ship the prize at the address noted during registration.

If you won a prize and your address has changed during the promotion, please reach out to Customer Support.

Why can’t I register with my P.O. Box address?

Our shipping service cannot ship any prizes to a P.O. Box, so if you’re identified as a winner, we need to send the prize to your home. Also, your home address allows us to identify your residence for eligibility purposes. If a prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited.

If I register for the promotion, what will my information be used for?

Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in this Promotion will be collected by the Sponsors or their agent and used by Sponsors, their affiliates, agents, and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Promotion as described in these Official Rules, and in accordance with each Sponsor’s Privacy Policy as stated at http://www.playstation.com/en-us/legal/privacy-policy.

May I register on more than one account?

No. If it is discovered or suspected that an entrant has registered for or played or attempted to register for or play the Game using multiple e-mail addresses or multiple identities, all of that entrant’s entries will be declared null and void and any prize that entrant might have been entitled to receive or win will not be awarded.
